Storage Design True Furniture's range of storage products are designed to complement and to be compatible with the various True Furniture ranges of office furniture. They provide a facility for the storage and retrieval of the most commonly used types of filing high frequency, general bulk or archival; and with the variety of internal accessories available they can be organised for multimedia storage. Many of the storage units can be used as room dividers or for territorial definition. The differing heights of units also provide an opportunity for landscaping in the open plan office. A range of fabric covered back panels are available for all units to further enhance the office environment, and most of the units are offered with a choice of lockable closure - doors, up-and-over or side-opening tambours. All shelves have that little bit extra depth to accommodate most known box files, binders and other bulky items. Storage units can be easily configured internally to accommodate either one type of dedicated filing or alternatively different types of mixed media filing/storage using the range of internal accessories available. Senator's storage products are designed, manufactured and tested to conform to BS4875 part 7 and 8, Strength and Stability storage units. Pedestal Design The Heavy duty pedestal range is built around a metal-sided drawer system certified to BS4875 - 80,000 closures with a 30kg load. The steel forms an integral part of the drawer front to prevent this being 'Slammed - off'. 15mm board constitutes the drawer base which is virtually impossible to break, with normal usage. All drawers have a 'Lock-out' facility. This drawer system is guaranteed for 5 years. The standard pedestal range uses a foil wraparound drawer supported by base metal runners.
